Woods Concreting is a family-run team working out of Toowoomba and across the Scenic Rim. We pour house slabs and surrounds, driveways, shed slabs, pathways and pool surrounds, and we subcontract for builders who need the job done properly. No job is too small or too big. When the truck leaves, the finish is one you would be happy to stand on for years.

How the pour goes

Three stages, done in the right order.

Good concrete is decided long before the truck turns up. Here is how a Woods job runs from set-out to a clean, cured finish.

Stage 01

Prep & form-up

Level, box up and reinforce. We get the falls, depths and steel right so the slab does its job and the water runs where it should.

Stage 02

Pour & place

Concrete goes in, gets screeded and worked while it is live. Our crew moves fast and keeps it even, so there are no cold joints or low spots.

Stage 03

Finish & cure

Float, edge and finish to suit the job, then leave it to cure properly. You are left with tidy edges and a surface that lasts.
